Encouraging consumers to sort their waste

Created on the initiative of several brands (such as Bonduelle, Mars, l’Oréal, Heineken, etc.), the retailer Perekrestok and the nonprofit waste recycling organization Sobirator, the NA PERERABOTKU project aims to raise awareness among consumers about the importance of sorting their waste. This is a unique project that brings together the aforementioned brands, retail chain and nonprofit organization.

DISCOUNTS IN EXCHANGE FOR SORTING WASTE

The principle is both simple and appealing: consumers bring sorted waste packaging to the recycling center and, in exchange, receive discount coupons redeemable on certain products from the partner chains (a 20% discount on Bonduelle products based on a minimum purchase): this initiative both promotes awareness among consumers and contributes to the circular economy, and is a natural extension of our CSR objectives in terms of reducing the level of packaging waste.

A PILOT PROJECT THAT IS ATTRACTING CONSUMER INTEREST

This joint project demonstrates that everyone can readily develop positive consumer habits and help create a better world.

The pilot project, which will run in Moscow until the end of May 2021, has been very well received by consumers and is set to be extended in the future to include other cities and new partners!
